What advice would you give a mum?

For our latest Mums' Make Date we made a Couch Coach, and imagined having our very own personal coaches. We shared our best advice for mums, our favourite quotes, and what we'd most like to hear ourselves.

you matterThe loudest message shared for other mums was to accept that we are each unique, we each know what works best for us and our families, and we should trust in that. We need to look after ourselves in order to parent well and pursue our dreams. And we should dump the guilt, relax and enjoy life. Read some of the best bits in the Storify below, it's guaranteed to make you feel better...

Now if only we REALLY had a coach who could help us to do that. Well, just like magic, you can only go and win one by sharing your very own Couch Coach photo here. To enter the draw to win a coaching session (more info below) , all you have to do is upload a photo to the Couch Coach gallery before midnight BST on 31 August 2012.  See the rules here. What's the prize?

How often do you get to talk about what you want and need with someone who wants to help? Someone you're not responsible for and who won't judge you for what you say? Well, this month's prize is a one hour specialist coaching session by phone or Skype with Kirsten Hanlon of Mum and More (worth £40). Kirsten specialises in helping mums be the best they can be - through coaching and MumME Time retreats deep in the Cotswolds.

You can use your session with Kirsten to set some practical goals or talk about your fears. You can just have a moan or a nice chat. You don't have to talk about anything you don't want to. The point is, this will be YOUR time - an hour of being listened to that you can use however you want. Read Kirsten's story here.
